Use bookme with Claude and other AI assistants
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any app that supports MCP. Ask in plain words and the assistant works in your bookme account, with you in control of every change.
https://bookme.brandid.app/mcpWhat you can ask
The assistant uses the same rules as your dashboard: your working hours, notice, buffers, caps, calendars and plan limits all apply.
- Create a 45 minute "Strategy Call" on Zoom, Monday and Thursday 10 to 4.
- What meetings do I have tomorrow, and who booked them?
- Block next Friday, I am at a conference.
- Move my 3 pm with Ivy to any open time on Thursday.
- Mark yesterday's meetings: Ana met, Ben did not show.
- How many no-shows did I have last month, by event type?
- Draft a reminder email for my webinar, one day before it starts.
- Who are my most frequent clients, and who has not booked in 3 months?
- Give me the embed code for my Discovery Call on a popup button.
bookme also offers ready-made commands: daily briefing, weekly review, set up an event type, record outcomes, follow up no-shows, plan time off and prepare a webinar. In Claude look for them in the chat's + menu; in Claude Code type / and pick one starting with mcp__bookme__.
Connect your AI app
Every app uses the same address. You sign in to bookme (not to the AI app) and choose what it may do. Connecting needs a recent sign-in; if yours is older, bookme emails you a 6-digit code first.
Claude (web and desktop app)
- Open Customize, then Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors).
- Click +, choose Add custom connector, type bookme as the name and paste the server address.
- Keep the sign-in options Claude picks (Sign in now, Use Claude's published identity) and click Add.
- Click Connect, sign in to bookme, choose the access and click Allow Claude.
- In a chat, click + at the bottom left, open Connectors and check that bookme is on.
Claude asks before each bookme action; you can set Read-only tools to Always allow in the connector's settings. Free Claude plans can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it once in Organization settings, Connectors, and each member clicks Connect.
Claude Code
- Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http bookme https://bookme.brandid.app/mcp- Start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick bookme and sign in.
The consent screen says "Runs on this computer" because Claude Code runs on your machine.
ChatGPT
- In settings, open Apps and connectors and turn on developer mode (paid plans).
- Create a connector with the server address and OAuth sign-in.
- Sign in to bookme and choose the access.
Other MCP apps
- Add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the server address. Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and others work.
- The app opens bookme so you can sign in.
bookme marks apps it cannot identify as Unverified. Only approve an app you started yourself.
Choose what it may do
On the consent screen pick View only, View and manage or Custom (area by area). Unverified apps start at View only. You can change it any time in bookme under AI Assistants.
How changes stay safe
Changes to your own settings: profile, event types, hours, days off, booking questions, automated emails and notes. Listed in Activity, and most can be undone there for 30 days.
Changes that reach other people or cannot be undone: cancelling or moving a meeting, recording an outcome that emails the invitee, removing a guest, adding a few people to a webinar, changing who hosts a team event, answering a team invitation, deleting an unused event type. The AI must show you exactly what will happen and wait for your yes.
High impact: inviting someone new, emailing a whole webinar list, cancelling several meetings, automations that send data or links outside bookme, changing the contact links on your profile, and more than 10 people-affecting changes in one hour. You approve or reject each one on the AI Assistants page; nothing happens until you do.
What an AI app can never do
- Payments, plans, billing, refunds or payouts
- Your password, email or sign-in methods
- Connecting or disconnecting calendars, video and other apps
- Changing your organization, its members or billing
- Its own access: only you change what an AI app may do
- Deleting your account
Limits keep a confused or manipulated assistant in check: about 90 requests a minute, 20 changes a minute, and a smaller budget for changes that affect other people. Paid meetings are never cancelled by an AI app, and it never issues refunds.
Your control panel
In bookme, open AI Assistants in the sidebar:
- Waiting for your approval: the exact request (who gets which email, which links) with Approve and Reject. A badge in the sidebar shows how many are waiting, and bookme emails you when one arrives. Requests expire after 24 hours.
- Connected apps: what each app may do, when it was last used, change its access or disconnect it.
- Pause all AI access: one switch stops every AI app at once; connections are kept for when you resume.
- Activity: every request an AI app made, kept for 12 months, with Undo on changes to your own settings for 30 days. If something was edited again since, bookme asks before replacing the newer version.
Security and privacy
- You sign in on bookme with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE. The AI app never sees your password.
- Access keys last 15 minutes and refresh keys change on every use. A used key that comes back stops the connection.
- A connection lasts up to 90 days and ends after 30 days without use. Changing your password disconnects every AI app.
- Text that invitees, guests or registrants typed is marked as coming from outside your account, so the assistant treats it as information, never as instructions.
- An AI app sees only what its tools return (for example a meeting's time, invitee name and email, and notes). What you share in a chat is then also covered by that AI provider's own terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy.
Did not connect an app you see on the AI Assistants page? Disconnect it, change your password and write to [email protected].

Questions
The assistant says a change is waiting for my approval. Where do I approve it?
In bookme, open AI Assistants. The request is at the top with everything it will do. Approve runs it once; Reject drops it. It expires after 24 hours.
Why did the assistant ask me before cancelling a meeting?
Anything that emails or affects other people takes two steps: the assistant first gets a description of exactly what will happen, shows it to you and only then confirms. The confirmation works once, for those exact details, for 10 minutes.
Can I undo something the assistant did?
Changes to your own settings (event types, hours, days off, questions, automated emails, notes) have Undo in Activity for 30 days. Changes that already reached people, like a sent email or a cancelled meeting, cannot be taken back automatically.
How do I stop an AI app right now?
Click Pause all AI access on the AI Assistants page, or Disconnect on that app. Both take effect on its next request.
The app asks me to sign in to bookme again.
The connection ended: it is older than 90 days, was unused for 30 days, your password changed, or it was disconnected. Sign in again to reconnect.
Can an AI app see my payments or change my prices?
No. Payments, prices, plans, billing, refunds and payouts are not available to AI apps at all.
